Nancy and I worked together in the early 70’s. And instant love and friendship started. Bob and my husband, Bud became friends too. Thru out the years, we kept in touch. If I was in Florida, I tried to visit. Our phone conversations became such classics. Nancy would call me, Jannie. We would go down memory lane, each adding a tidbit of information. The love that we shared was only matched by the respect. Bud and I would not want a life without Nancy and Bob and the rest of the family. With love, respect, missing you both. ❤️

I vividly remember Bob and Nancy from my teenage years when they were first married to closer to the present when we visited them in Vero Beach. Bob was the quieter of the two and full of thought and came out with funny quips. I remember Nancy’s laugh. Always happy. Totally unpretentious and totally genuine. They both filled my growing up years with love and acceptance. I know you miss them now as I do. Memories keep them alive. May their memories be for a blessing . Love,

I remember and will always remember both with intense affection and I was lucky enough to share a few days with them and my wife, Sandra, in Vero Beach. I spent a whole afternoon with Nancy looking at photos, in which in addition to those that corresponded to the time I was in the United States, there were many more of her family and Bob's family and all those who make up the world that they formed between them. We also went to a craft fair where we were given a fountain that I keep in my studio and we were having dinner at a restaurant in Vero Beach. One morning Nancy greeted Sandra and me with a traditional American breakfast, which is something Sandra didn't know about except through movies. So I am very sorry for my clumsiness and I hope to be in contact with you and if possible to receive your visits in Argentina, where everyone will always be welcome.

There I was in college (mumbles) years ago when (son) Bob said, "Come home with me to my brother's high school graduation." I did and I was on my way to becoming part of a new family. Quite the shock from being an old child. And presiding over everything and encouraging all was a unique set of parents. Wonderful people. My condolences on their passing. (Yes, I know, separate times, but the memorial is together, thus my phrasing.)

I remember Nancy from parent-teacher conferences at Central. No nonsense, but gracious and funny. Sending a wish to her family for peace and comfort.

My sincere condolences go out to the Blumstein family. You were all a large part of my youth and I hope you know that so much love is being sent your way. May you find peace and comfort in the memories of your parents.
